Christmas is a time of great cheer. All over the world,it is celebrated with great joy. It is on this day that infant Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph. Bethlehem is near Jerusalem. People wish each other by saying “MERRY CHRISTMAS”.

Jesus Christ spread the message of universal love and peace. When he was born,a star appeared in the sky. One night three men noticed this star shining in the east. These three men were known Magi and were known for their wisdom.

The three wise men set out on journey to follow the star and find the newborn messenger of god, the Messiah. The star led the wise men through fields and over the mountains, until they are arrived in Bethlehem.

The star stood over the place where infant Jesus had been born. Mary had kept Jesus in a MANGER since he was born in a stable.

when the wise men arrived, they found baby Jesus with his mother,Mary,his father,Joseph. The place shone with the glory of god.

The wise men knew That this MESSIAH was truly “the king of the kings”. They rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

The three wise men bowed before Jesus and offered priceless gifts to him.

The angels in the heaven rejoiced, for they also knew that Jesus was the son of the god.

The mention of Christmas reminds us of Santa Claus. Do you know who is Santa Claus ? He is also called “Christmas father” because he loves to give gifts to children. On the Christmas EVE,he comes driven by Reindeer.

.He is believed to come down the chimneys. Children hang their stockings up at night for Santa to drop gifts into them. They feel very happy when they see gifts in the morning. Children love Santa very much..
