 Welcome to our presentation on the civilization of ancient Egypt. We hope you enjoy our show and learn a few things about ancient Egypt.

 Ancient Egypt was an ancient civilization in eastern North Africa, concentrated along the lower reaches of the Nile River in what is now the modern nation of Egypt. The civilization began around 3150 BC with the political unification of Upper and Lower Egypt the first Pharaoh, and it developed over the next three millennia. The rule of the pharaohs officially ended in 31 BC when the early Roman Empire conquered Egypt and made it a province.

 Ancient Egyptian Government was dominated by a single man, the Pharaoh. The people believed that the king was more than a man, however, but that he was a god.

 The governmental officials included the vizier, or the prime minister, the chief treasurer, the tax collector, the minister of public works, and the army commander.

 Mycernus  Giza

The government of Egypt consists of a semi- presidential republic, whereby the President of Egypt is the fact both head of state and head of government, and of a system dominated by the National Democratic Party.

. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the People's Assembly.
