Fire Risk Assessor 10 The powerful in-built database means that an almost unlimited number of Fire Risk Assessments may be carried out before the Pocket PC is synchronised with its desktop PC, each assessment is uniquely identified and automatically time stamped. As shown by the example screens to the right, each Fire Risk Assessment contains all of the information needed to complete a comprehensive fire risk assessment. Other information required for the management and assessment of risks is also collected.

Fire Risk Assessor 11 Navigating your way through the Pocket PC Fire Risk Assessor software is simple! You can either click the Previous or Next buttons, or click on the return to contents hyperlink which is displayed at the bottom of every page. Fire Risk Assessor 12 Downloading the survey data from your Pocket PC is simple. All you need to do is place your Pocket PC into its docking cradle, start the Pocket PC Creations Software (this is supplied as part of Fire Risk Assessor) and press the Synchronise button on the desktop. This starts the synchronisation process and automatically downloads all survey data from the Pocket PC to the Fire Risk Assessor management database. Downloading the survey data from your Pocket PC is simple. All you need to do is place your Pocket PC into its docking cradle, start the Pocket PC Creations Software (this is supplied as part of Fire Risk Assessor) and press the Synchronise button on the desktop. This starts the synchronisation process and automatically downloads all survey data from the Pocket PC to the Fire Risk Assessor management database.

Fire Risk Assessor 13 Fire Risk Assessor Switchboard The first screen you will encounter in the management database is the Fire Risk Assessor Switchboard. This enables users to view supporting information such as the Quick Start User Notes; create new FRA Record Sheets, open existing FRA Record Sheets, print selected FRA Record Sheets or exit the software.

Fire Risk Assessor 14 FRA Record Sheet Whenever you open an existing Record Sheet or create a new Record Sheet, you will be presented with the FRA Record Sheet screen. Data is simply entered into the data sheet by clicking on the appropriate box and selecting an option from the pull down menu or by typing text into the box. There is no limit on the number of Record Sheets you can have and Record Sheets can be viewed/selected by Project Number or the FRA Ref fields. Shortcuts have been incorporated into the software to sort and print the FRA Record Sheets meaning that all you have to do is click the appropriate button.
