What are the opportunities for growth within J L Smith Associates?

Senior Market Division This division markets products that address the basic needs of seniors today.

Senior Market Division The range of products offered by this division include Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, Final Expense, Short Term and Long Term Care, and several other supplemental benefits.

Comprehensive Planning Division This division markets products that address the more complex needs of seniors. Examples of needs addressed by this division could include reducing Income Taxes, Estate Distribution, Comprehensive Long-term care planning and Probate Advance.

Comprehensive Planning Division This division offers a comprehensive portfolio of Annuities and Single Premium Life Products.

Comprehensive Planning Division Agent criteria for this division requires one year experience in the Senior Market Division along with other testing and production requirements.

Referral Commissions These are the commissions paid to the Senior Market Division by the Comprehensive Planning Division for referring clients

Referral Commissions Referral Commissions are paid only when business was written during the delivery process of the original policy, or when a referral form was submitted. The commission paid for the Referral is equal to 25% of the CPD agents commission.

 Each agent in the Senior Market Division is assigned two mentors.  Mentors provide valuable support to the agent by supplying access to their knowledge, expertise, and experience.

Mentoring Program  Mentors are classified as primary and secondary  Mentors are compensation on a production based schedule.

Distribution Partner A Distribution Partner receives compensation equal to 50% of the gross profit minus certain expenses on their division.
