The project has been integrated in the curriculum of the classes involved All students could take part (group work or single productions) We have used lesson time to work on the project but it was necessary to have extra hours Materials produced have been evaluated Materials produced have been /will be used by the students of the last year for their final examinations Different departments have worked on the project European projects and school curriculum: general strategy

Who ? Students / classes involved four of the 5th year (last year of Italian High School age ) and three (one CLIL class )of the 4th year ( age 17-18). Teachers/subjects involved English, Technology, Mathematics, I.T, Physical Education, History The Comenius ASSISTANT The Observatory of photography of “Provincia di Roma “ under the patronage of “Senato della Repubblica Italiana”

How ?  Classes divided in spontaneous groups, discussed and focused on  Relation between food and all arts ( music, cinema, painting, pop art…)  Food in different aspects of our life: proverbs, sayings, traditions, superstitions, history, good manners, health  Analysis of family food habits with reference to the different nationalities of our students  Production of selfies

What ? Students (in groups or alone) produced power point presentations,all on the school site ( about the topics describedwww.ipsiacattaneo.it Students produced selfies in the workshop The coordinator produced power point presentations about all meetings on the school site (

When and where ? lesson time a lot of extra time both for students and for the coordinator and some of the teachers involved at school, in the It.lab, at home

All products have been evaluated by the teachers on the base of: cooperation of students (group works/single productions) Use of IT challenge of using English general quality of the products ( information, originality, creativity, ) Evaluation of the products

Goals achieved General : to encourage food culture under different aspects To educate to a responsible consumerism And 1. Communication in the mother tongue; 2. Communication in foreign language; 3. more competences in the subjects involved 4. Digital competence; 5. Learning to learn; 6. Group working 7. Social and civic competences 8. Sense of initiative
