1 Actions since June 19 meeting (World Bank, DC) Generating enthusiasm for STH control and increasing partner involvement Number of partners increased from 9 to over 20 – and now looking to NGOs and countries Partners engaged in discussion monthly and in individual conversations Identified opportunities to increase exposure across sectors e.g. SHARE, NNN, COR-NTD You are executing and "doing", maintaining the focus on action Continued conversations with UNICEF Progress in delivering on commitments by World Food Programme, World Vision, Vitamin Angels, GPE, and others Capturing your input in the Framework for Action Document - a tool to build alignment within organizations and amongst partners Workstreams with specific targets, areas of work, and next steps, in addition to individual partner commitments toward closing the coverage gap and other goals Agreed to pursue the five WHO priority countries for initial, more in-depth approach in addition to global activities Progress update 1

8 How can NGO community access resources committed by STH Coaltion partners? When will they be available? Up to 600 million doses donated through 2020 for school-age children (GSK, J&J) 90 million doses donated to WHO for preschool-age children (World Vision) Expand supply of quality drugs Opportunities for add'l platforms for delivery 40 million children treated through Vitamin A distribution (Vitamin Angels) 20 million children treated through school feeding (WFP) Promote school-based deworming at policy level (Dubai Cares) Support range of operational research, and country govt coordination (CIFF) Explore the feasibility of interrupting transmission (BMGF) Pursue ongoing deworming activities with $100 million in 2014 to NTDs (USAID) Build on existing commitments to the London Declaration (DFID) Create advocacy messages and build social media campaigns (GNNTD) Gather and share best practices/success stories from existing partners (End Fund) Community engagement 3 Create common voice/ message Resources for op research and program impl. Access to partners to facilitate cross- sector planning Work closely with Ministries of Education in 15 countries to support adding school health/ deworming to Education Sector plans (GPE) Promote alignment of NTD community and WASH priorities (WaterAid) Select commitments from existing partners as examples

How do countries apply for this? How do NGOs go about accessing vitamin A supplements and albendazole from Vitamin Angels? How can NGOs help promote school based deworming? If NGOs are working in countries and states where CIFF is engaged, can they partner with CIFF to advance STH? What other sources of implementation funds might there be? When will the workstream leaders be established and how does one participate? How will NGOs access advocacy messages? How does one work with GPE to connect with specific MoEs? What are the GPE-priority countries and how does one access IDA funds? Where and when are workshops going to be held? Who can participate? Expand supply of quality drugs Opportunities for add'l platforms for delivery Create common voice/ message Resources for op research and program impl.
