Camouflage

From Wikipedia: Camouflage is the method which allows an otherwise visible organism or object to remain indiscernible from the surrounding environment. Examples include a tiger's stripes and the battledress of a modern soldier. Camouflage is a form of deception.

Camouflage Something to keep in mind: There are important differences between “camouflage”, “cover”, and “concealment”. “Cover” means a physical barrier! “Concealment” means an interrupted sight-line.

Camouflage Some things are not really camouflage! Camo means that the object is “hidden” because it how it looks. Being Obvious, but looking like it belongs, is camouflage!

Camouflage is making something blend in, so even if you see it, you don’t recognize it. Camo allows an object to be “hidden in plain sight”. It means that your eyes take it in, but your brain doesn’t notice. Camouflage

Sometimes camo is very simple. It doesn’t take a lot to make something much less obvious! Camouflage

Available materials often make the best camo materials. Color and texture are what we use to make things blend. Camouflage

For a really challenging hide, you can get more elaborate. Imagination and manual skills are the only limits! Camouflage
