India’s Christmas Christmas is quite a small celebration in India, Because there is 1 Billion people in India and only 25 Million are Christian. One of the largest Christian areas is Bombay most of them are Roman Catholics. Midnight mass is very important to Christians in India. Instead of Christmas trees they decorate banana or mango trees.
