Webelos Desired Outcomes

Webelos Rank Requirements 1. Be an active member of your Webelos den for three months. (Being active means having good attendance, paying your den dues and working on den projects.) 2. Complete 5 Required Adventures 3. Choose and complete 2 Elective Adventure 4. With a parent or guardian, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide, AND earn the Cyber Chip award for your age.

Bobcat 1.Learn and say the Scout Oath, with help as needed. 2.Learn and say the Scout Law, with help as needed. 3.Show the Cub Scout sign. Tell what it means. 4.Show the Cub Scout handshake. Tell what it means. 5.Say the Cub Scout motto. Tell what it means. 6.Show the Cub Scout salute. Tell what it means. 7.With your parent or guardian, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide – Bobcat Requirements.

Webelos/AOL Elective Adventures Castaway Practice Outdoor Skills and Survival, including an exercise for “living off the grid” Engineer Explore fields in Engineering Design a project and construct it using what you’ve learned and share it with your Pack Earth Rocks! Study Geology and Earth Science. Learn about how our world is shaped and transformed right beneath your feet Fix It Learn basic Handyman skills; with adult supervision identify and repair some Fix It projects around your home Game Design Learn about Internet Safety; Design a game a teach someone how to play your game Into the Wild Explore Nature by watching birds, insects, and creatures; learn about aquatic ecosystems and wetlands; set up an aquarium or terrarium
