Chapter One: What are the characters like? How do we know this?

What does the ‘mouse incident’ show about Lennie?

Why do George and Lennie dream about the future?

Describe and discuss the relationship between Lennie and George, and incorporate some short quotes from the text.

Choose either George or Lennie and write one paragraph about your opinions and feelings towards the other character.

Describe and discuss the relationship between Lennie and George, and incorporate some short quotes from the text.
