How is the future tense of the 3 rd conjugation formed? pon___pon____ pon__pon____ ponamponēmus ponēsponētis ponetponent

Verbs of 3 rd –io and 4 th conjugations Future tense of 3 rd –io verbs and 4 th conjugation verbs are formed in the same way as future tense of the 3 rd conjugation, with the addition of an ‘i’ in EVERY form of the verb. The ‘i’ will be short in each form, because it precedes another vowel. See p. 488 for rules on pronounciation and vowel ‘quantity’.
