Hello students! The following sessions we’ll be working on this WONDERFUL, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, SUPER-PROJECT!! We are sure you’ll enjoy it and you will learn a lot! Every day you will have to carry out a different task related to the topic and send the work to your teacher. The instructions will be always here. Remember it’s a GROUP project: you have to work together. Distribute the work, everybody must participate actively. Are you eager to start? Great!! Here you have your first task…

First of all you we will focus on HEROES. Try to answer the following questions:  What is a hero?  Which qualities does he/she have?  Give three examples of people that you consider heroes. Why are they heroes? Now you have to create a Word document and write a short paragraph answering the questions above. Add some photos, check the spelling, and when it’s ready, send it to your teacher:

Today we will look at SUPERHEROES. Try to answer these questions:  What is a superhero?  What are their usual abilities and powers?  Which other things do they have in common?  Give 3 examples of superheroes.  How do you call their opponents/enemies? Do you need some help? Go here: Who is your favourite superhero? Why? Create a word document and write 2 or 3 short paragraphs answering the questions above. Add some photos, check the spelling and send it to your teacher (Assun’s group) or put the document in your wiki (Josh’s group).

Today you are going to do some research on your favourite superhero. These are the areas you should research: 1. Background and History: Where does he/she come from? What turned him/her into a super hero? How is his/her “public” life? ( Has she/ he got a job? A family..?) 2. Strengths and Weaknesses: Which are his/her powers? Has she/he got any weaknesses? 3. Main Villain: Who is his/her archenemy? Talk about him/her. Write 3-5 paragraphs talking about these things.

Now you know a little bit more about the world of superheroes, so… it’s time to create your own superhero and present your creation to the rest of the class! See the instructions herehere
