What is a conversation? A conversation occurs when 2 or more people are talking about the same idea.

What is a question? A question is usually a request for information or action.

What is a related comment? A comment is a verbal statement related to an idea, information, or an observation. A related comment is a verbal statement directly connected to another person’s idea, information, or observation. I love cheese pizza! Me too! But, I also like pepperoni.

Getting Started… Do: Look at the person Say: “Hello,” “Hi,” or “How are you?” Wait: Listen for an answer

Next… Do: Look at the person Say: Make a comment or ask a question Wait: Listen for an answer or a related comment
