Save Nauru from Smoking Healthy World Organization By, Jeneane

Every day and every year thousands of people die and suffer from illnesses and diseases. And every day we ask our selves what the solution could be, or how we could make the world a better place. Now I have come with the solution to two major causes of death every year, obesity and smoking. Introduction

I need you to help reduce the percentages of smoking in Nauru, and to reduce the number of yearly deaths caused by smoking. Mission statement

Current statistics percentages

Could this be the future to those who crave for smoking

Smoking preventable cause of death that has ever been put on Smoking is the most preventable cause of death that has ever been put on the face of the planet. Without smoking the amount of people that die every year would reduce by 1/4.

These are all the things your cigarette is made up of. And this is what all smokers put into their mouths when they smoke every day.

The most common way to stop smoking is the nicotine patch The most common way to stop smoking is the nicotine patch. This patch is applied to the upper right arm, and this patch will release into the blood stream a small amount of nicotine that will reduce the patients craving to smoke cigarettes. If we use money wisely we can give these to people in Nauru and reduce the amount of people who smoke there and reduce the amount of people who die every year from cigarette smoking. Another way to solve this is public awareness. If we invest in ads and educational campaigns in Nauru, every one will know about the hazards of smoking, they may quit smoking. Putting up posters of smoke related cancer patients can be very effective because they are scary photographs. Showing how people die from smoking, the risks of cancer if you smoke and so on. When someone wants to quit smoking and they need support the best thing to do is provide them with a hot line. These are support groups that the smoker calls and gets encouragement to continue quitting the cigarettes. That may help as well with reducing the people who smoke every day Solutions

Nicotine patch Nicotine being released They can be colored the same color as you skin so it does not show Nicotine patch Nicotine being released

If you help us reduce smoking in Nauru, many other countries may follow, and the amount of people who die every year will become less and the pollution in the air will become less too. The risks of people getting cancer will also become less. Pregnant wives will have healthier babies. Over all population will grow and people will live healthier lives. So please help us stop smoking in Nauru and you wont regret it. If we stop smoking

Thanks
