Proverbs 10:14 Wise men store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin Christ led his apostles by serving them (washing their feet). Paul says we are to serve. Ephesians 6:7 although this was written about a slave/master relationship it applies to this situation. Serve wholeheartedly as if you were serving the Lord, not men.
