Types of Minerals By: Collins & Emma

Minerals A mineral is a naturally formed, inorganic with a crystalline structure.

Elements! Are pure substances that cannot be broken down into simpler substances!

Atoms An atom is the smallest part of an element that has all the properties of an element. Atoms are EVERYWHERE!

Compound! A compound is a substance made out of two or more element. A metamorphic rock is a compound.

Crystals Crystals are a compound!

What we have learned is that there are a lot of different kinds of compounds and it will help us when we get older with……….Everything!
