Knowing the will of God How can I be sure ?

Stop ! And let God talk. “Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.” 1 Samuel 3v9-10 NASB Where do I go to listen ?

God’s inspired written Word “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness ; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3v16-17 NASB I don’t need anything else.

Inspired Scripture is living. “You have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.” 1 Peter 1v23 NASB I also know this by experience.

Let God’s Word loose ! “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two- edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4v12 NASB Let it do its work.

I can’t hear if I’m not listening ! “Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.” 1 Timothy 4v13 KJV Have you been reading “the whole counsel of God” ?

Knowing the will of God “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalms 119v105 NASB Examine the Scriptures !

Review, React and Remember :  How can I know God’s will ?  Pray, “Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.” 1 Samuel 3v9-10  Read through the Bible every year at least once if not more !  Look for the text that jumps off the page every day & follow it.
