Living As Tranformational Christians

 Three definitions  Unimpaired – SOUNDNESS  Adherence to a moral code – INCORRUPTIBLE  Undivided -- COMPLETENESS

 John 17:17 -- Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

 Psalm 1:1-2 -- How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.

 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches. I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways.

 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

 “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word….”  Unity based upon the word of God

 James 1:22 -- But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.

 Romans 12:1-2 -- Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

 Died with Christ  Do not submit to worldly decrees  Do not handle, taste, touch?  Seek things above  Set mind on things above  “When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.”

 …knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin…

 …that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit…

 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
