10.7 The Boston Tea Party By: Justin Alondra Arianna

The Tea Act The tea act entitled that only the British East India Company the largest British tea company where the only one`s who can sell to colonists. Colonists got angry because they passed the Tea Act without the colonists approval. They got angry because they were afraid that the Parliament would let certain companies control their imported goods. So on December a group of men dressed as American Indians boarded ship`s in the Boston Harbor. They opened 342 chests of tea and dumped it into the water.
