Escritura: Schools in different cultures Take a Realidades 1 textbook from the shelf and read the following: – Fondo cultural: Studying English, p. 80 – Fondo cultural: El recreo, p. 86 – Fondo cultural: School uniforms, p. 106 – Fondo cultural: School gyms, p. 113 – Perspectivas del mundo hispano: ¿Cómo es la escuela?, p. 116 Based on what you read, think about what observations you can make about the similarities and differences between schools in the U.S. and in Spanish-speaking countries. What can you infer about the attitudes towards education in these countries? On a sheet of notebook paper, write a 1 page reflection (in English) explaining what you think it would be like to move from a school in the U.S. to a school in a Spanish-speaking country (or vice versa). Use at least 4 details from the readings to support your perspective. Español 1 El 7 de noviembre de 2013
