Innovative practice The hardware group placed emphasis on a sensor node electronics hardware design including schematics and printed circuited board (PCB) design and implementation. – Two electronic engineering students take charge of node core module design. – Two students from agriculture and mechanical engineering are responsible for sensor extension board design.
Node design practice
Sensor extension board The group designed and manufactured an intensive agriculture monitoring sensor board provide relevant measurements to scientist. – The board contains the following sensors: temperature, air humidity, illumination, PH and soil humidity.
