Presentation transcript:

Interview I was able to interview someone who lived in this neighborhood for about 10 years now. Her name is Morgan and she is in her mid 30’s. Morgan moved to the US about 12 years ago. The neighborhood is close enough to Portland State University. The place has changed quite a bit in the past 10 years especially for buildings and properties. More young people started to move around this neighborhood and it mixes between youth and the older generation. The neighborhood is close to all needed places because it is located in the park blocks in downtown. Because it is close to where she needs to go and work, she doesn’t need to drive as much because almost everything she needs to have is around her and that’s an advantage for her not to drive and stress. But on the other hand there are challenges that the resident can face when being outside. The resident will find it hard to adjust to the loud life in downtown at first but will get used to it with time. Even though inside where she lives it is quite and it blocks the outside noise, waking up in the morning and having to hear all the loud noise is a huge difficulty and especially for those who live in older places.
