Hyperlinks, Sections, Master Pages MOAC Lesson 4

Hyperlink An address that refers to another location, such as a website, a different slide, or an external file (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2014) Underlined text, usually blue in color (changes to purple when clicked)

Hyperlinks Hyperlink Options: Existing File or Webpage – Opens another file or the web browser Place in this Document – goes to another slide in the same presentation Create new Document – creates a new presentation Email Address – creates a link to open Outlook to send an email Can be a graphic Target: page, file, or slide that opens when you click a link (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2012) Must be tested in Slide Show View (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2012) or by right-clicking and choosing Open Hyperlink

Hyperlinks Action Button: a graphic that serves as a hyperlink to jump to a location or perform an action (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2014)

Sections A grouping of contiguous slides (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2014) Beneficial for long presentations Can move, format, and delete an entire section (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2012)
