waste glass collection issues From The Sunday Times, June 3, 2007 Exposed: the great recycling con trick  PAPER, bottles and plastic that million householders are being forced to recycle are routinely being dumped in landfill sites.  Container loads of mixed recyclable materials rejected by British companies are unlawfully shipped abroad to be sorted in China, India and Indonesia. Possible Remedy: Recycling on-site thus saving transport costs and sorting effort
