Art Project Draw a picture or make a collage (using photographs or picture from a magazine, etc.) creating an image that represents an opportunity you would like to have in life.

Reality Ride Listen to the song “Reality Ride” Then answer the questions on the next slide in your journal.

What does the line “So take the harder track and stay out of the loop” mean to you? What do you think the author meant when he wrote “when I’m gonna crash I look in side”? Why will the harder track give you more opportunity, freedom and self-respect?

Music Project Find a song that you hear on the radio, the internet, or a music CD that has positive lyrics that help remind you of the answer to the question: “Why try?” Or Create a music video of you performing an original song that has positive lyrics that help remind you of the answer to the question: “Why try?”
