2003 Summer Conference 7/23/03 4 SMA Facts Partnership since 1999 among MIT, NUS and NTU SMA-1 to conclude in 2 years; SMA-2 to commence in 2005 To-date 459 SMA students participated in the Program 5 academic programs –Average of 35 Masters and 5 PhD students 45 MIT faculty and roughly the same number from Singapore

2003 Summer Conference 7/23/03 7 SMA Distance Education Overview Live, interactive class sessions held daily at 7AM-10AM and at 7PM-10PM 3-4 classes transmitted to Singapore in each time slot 4 smart classrooms at MIT; 4 at NUS and 1 at NTU Over 1,000 hours of live classes delivered, recorded and streamed in the 02/03 academic year
