Sir Isaac Newton “Standing on the shoulders of a giant.”

Newton's Fluxions lim ||p||  0 n  i = 1 f(x i )(x i - x i - 1 ) Using fluxions, Newton learned how to find the area under a curve called a hyperbola. Here is an example of a formula for finding the integral ( area under a curve).

When And Where Sir Isaac Newton lived from 1642 to1727. He lived in England.

Important discoveries in math 1. Newton grouped his knowledge of gravity in Principles when he discovered gravity. 2. Newton made important discoveries about light and color. 3. The greatest teachings in Newton's life was math and science.

Interesting facts and events 1.Isaac was one of the smartest scientists and mathematicians in his time. 2.Newton didn’t publish some of his writings until later in his life when he was old. 3.Newton was a shy and modest person who loved what he did for a living.

Ending When Newton got in a fight his teacher said“You’ve beaten your foe on the field- now let’s see if you can beat him in the classroom as well.”
