Around the World: Exploring Children’s Rights Ed-200 Curriculum Project Stacy Raboin & Bianca Sims

Context Children should know about their rights as they mature. Sixth Grade Classroom Starting global ending local.

Objectives 1.Analyze and evaluate children’s rights in the United States and around the world. 2.Identify appropriate and relevant reference materials. 3.Compare differences between international policy and state policy drafting in relation to children’s rights.

Objectives cont. 4.Children will draw connections from their own experiences to children’s rights. 5.Students will develop mapping and charting skills. 6.Students will develop a broader visual awareness.
