Why Learn a FL?  Should everyone learn a foreign language? Why?

Learning a FL  What does it mean when one says that “ he can speak Japanese ” ?  What does it mean when someone is “ proficient ” in a language?

FL Teacher  Do you want to be a FL teacher?  What kind/type of teacher is a “ good ” teacher?  Can you recall your favorite teacher? What kind of quality did she/he possess?

What & How to Teach  If you were to be a FL teacher, what would you want to teach? What is your goal?  What does it mean to “ teach ” a FL?  What is the difference between “ teaching ” and “ learning ” ?
