Executive Report Pro Vice Chancellor for Students Council June 2008

1 Remit ‘Student experience’ = all those facets of University that go to making it a formative experience. The role demands that a strategic approach is taken to all non- academic aspects of the University from Accommodation to Welfare Advice, via Alcohol and Drugs, Colleges, International Student Support and Sport

1 Governance Student Services Committee New committee set up in 2007 Combines the expertise of the welfare system with facilities management to ensure joined up thinking Provides student representation at the highest level of strategy formulation.
