What is a SWOT Analysis and how does it work? Walk through the process of setting goals and objective Define contingency planning and crisis management

Organizing Explain levels of management and how managers are organized include the concepts of top, middle and first-line management What is organizational structure and how are specialization and departmentalization used to develop it? Discuss forms of divisional organization and how they are used Explain the use of organization charts and the concepts of chain of command and span of control

Cases and Problems The class will divide into 4 groups: Groups 1 and 3 will complete the Learning on the Web section of chapter 6 Groups 2 and 4 will complete the Ethics angle section of chapter 6 Be prepared to discuss your answers in your groups in the next class session
