Project Description Robo-Football Demonstration and Competition Development Intercollegiate robotic “football” competition to encourage interest in science and engineering Develop robot-based game with elements similar to American Football Develop rules of the game and design robot(s) to demonstrate its fundamental features and technology for the game

Previous Week’s Action Items Item 1 : Narrowing Concept Scope – Open ended project resulted in many ideas for possible concepts – Group discussion led to choice of a game concept involving various types of robo-players: quarterback, kicker, receiver, lineman, defensive back – Will prototype the quarterback Item 2: Website Creation – None of the team members knew how to make site – Jamie began creation of HTML site – Group discussion of layout and necessary links

Website Progression Day 1 Week 1Week 2

Current Status Current Graphic – Individual Concept Sketches Design Status – Chosen our concept, a game with various players – Will prototype the quarterback Schedule – On schedule after initial feeling of being behind due to the open ended nature of the project

Next Week’s Action Items Item 1: Concept and Design Requirement Refinement – Further define concept and prototype – Add to product design requirements – Brainstorm possible trade studies Item 2: Further Website Development – Make site fully functional with all necessary links and pop up menus – Update all current documentation – Include site introduction, team photos, and bios
