Overall Scope of global warming It is evident that global temperatures have been rising in the last 100 years and that the last 1000 years has no similarly warm period.

Penguins are in trouble You can see how central penguins are too other species.

Specific data on topic  Adelie Penguin population has declined 40%  Chinstrap Penguins that like open water are increasing.

Google earth view This is a view of a penguin rookery on South Georgia.  Add appropriate view

Impact  Fewer penguins upset balance of seals and Killer whales that feed upon them.  Similarly penguins help regulate the populations of numerosu fish species  Penguins are a key component to shorebird populations.

Future problems  With storms increasing this threatens rookeries  Sea ice declining alters the habitat more and more  Therefore populations will suffer….
