Introduction With today’s ever-increasing technology options, young children can get a head start on operating and learning through technology Classrooms are equipped with computers, digital cameras, SMARTBoards, and other technology equipment

Introduction According to Johnson-Gerard (2010) virtually any preschool classroom today has at least one computer station as a classroom center or area choice Technology and the way it is used to facilitate learning in the preschool classroom have made great progress with the introduction of Apples’ new iPad… ( Johnson-Gerard, 2010)

What is the iPad? The iPad is a tablet computer produced by Apple. It weighs about 2.5 ounces

What is the iPad? iPads are pre-loaded with children’s apps, and the “i” in the name “iPad” stands for “internet” One of the big draws to the iPad is its web surfing abilities (Internet4Classrooms, )
