Bold Award Established in 1973 to honor Harold C. Bold Competition for the Outstanding student research paper/ presentation at the annual meeting of the Phycological Society of America. The award consists of a certificate and monetary prize. The information presented by the student must be that of the student’s in English and should be a complete or nearly complete study. Students must submit an abstract and an ORIGINAL signed letter from the student’s research director to the Bold Award Committee
