Plants are very useful to all… They provide us with: Clean air Fruits and vegetables Shade Wood to build homes, furniture, paper, pencils, plates and many other things. Homes, protection and food for animals.
How do plants grow? Parts of a plant: Plant a little seed in good soil and water it often. Make sure your plant gets enough sun. Soon you’ll see a little vine which is how you know that your plant is growing.
THERE ARE MANY TYPES OF TREES… THERE ARE: EDIBLE PLANTS - that is plants that you can eat. FOREST TREES - Plants use for their wood or for their products like rubber or syrup.
WHERE DO PLANTS AND TREES GROW… HABITATS: There are hundreds of different plants and trees. There are trees that can only grow in specific places on earth. For example: palms can only grow in warm places. Pines can only grow in cold places
PARTS OF PLANTS Roots - hold a plant in place. Stem - carries nutrients and water to the rest of the plant. Leaves - make food for the plant using chlorophyll. Flowers - home of fruits and more seeds
