AP Psychology Exam

AP Exam 100 multiple choice questions (70 minutes) 2 essays (50 minutes) You need to be in the library by 12:00 on Monday, May 4. Seniors should go to the cafeteria to eat lunch no later than 11:30. Bring a PENCIL and a PEN Please make sure you eat before the exam!

Section I - Multiple Choice Use POE (process of elimination)!!! Words that you do not remember are not good choices. If you do not know the meaning of a word, try to break the word apart. Pace yourself…do not spend too much time on one question. Do not leave any of the questions blank!!!

Section II - AP Free-Response Questions You have 50 minutes to answer BOTH of the following questions. It is not enough to answer a question by merely listing facts. You should present a convincing argument based on your critical analysis of the questions posed, using appropriate psychological terminology.

Things to Remember… Answers must be presented in complete sentences. Spelling and grammatical mistakes do not reduce your score. Students can score points only if information is presented in context (You must clearly convey which part of the question is being answered). Definitions without application are not sufficient to score points. You must address each part of the question in context to receive points. You do not earn points for an introduction and a conclusion, but if you have extra time you can write a paragraph summarizing your essay.
