Genre and Theme Genre: fiction The first Theme was, Jason Carter said “Always dream more than one dream”. The second theme was, “Try to make all your dreams come true”.

Main Characters Marcus Robison: Loves basketball Mia Robison: Wants to be an reporter when she grows up Jason Carter: Plays basketball for the giants, Marcus Robison looks up to him Juan: Is Marcus Robison best friend

Plot: 6 events Marcus Robison wins the math competition, So he gets to bring the basketball that all of his classmates signed Then they ride on the bus to the giants stadium They hear and see Jason Carter ( once and a lifetime) Jason Carter talks about his life and his past Marcus Robison gives the ball to Jason Carter that all his classmates signed Jason Carter takes the ball and shows the kids the real slam dunk

Setting There are multiple settings in this book, the settings are Marcus Robison’s House, Mia and Marcus Robison’s School and the Main setting is the Giants Basketball court

Conflict and Solution The conflict was that Marcus Robison’s, Jason Carter Jersey Shrunk in the washer because he wanted it to smell really good for his class field trip to the Giants Stadium. The solution to that problem was that Marcus friend Juan gave Marcus his Giants jersey because Juan brought another jersey.
