“The Fifties” / “Science Fiction” Number the paragraphs. On a separate piece of notebook paper Write down the title of the article Write down the main idea(s) for each of the numbered paragraphs. Under your list, use the main ideas to write a summary about the article. Topic sentence: identify title of article, author, and “big picture” main idea. Share with someone who read the other article. While listening to your partner, take Cornell notes on the back “The Fifties” / “Science Fiction”
