The concept of Gen, Jie of channels It' refers to the originating and terminating points of Qi in the 12 channels. Gen 根 means (root) or starting, it refers to the Jing-Well point of the channels. Jie 结 means (tip) or gathering and is located on the head, chest and abdomen. The concept of Biao, Ben of channels It’s explains the relations between the channel system and the various organs of the body. Clinical application of the theory of the channels 经络学说在临床上的应用 Guidance in clinical diagnosis 用于诊断 Disorders of the Zang or Fu will reflect symptoms and signs along the course of the channel (eg.
