Tasks 1.Meet with, examine, & interview patients. Order tests or procedures if needed 2.Give anesthesia or sedating medicine during medical procedures 3.Keep track of the flow of anesthesia & patients vital signs. Record all activity 4.Respond to any complications or reactions from anesthesia 5.After procedures, decide when patients are stable enough to be sent home or moved to another ward of the hospital

Working Conditions Always work indoors & with a team of doctors, nurses, and medical staff Talk to patients & patients’ family daily Work very close to patients (within inches) Dangers: regularly exposed to diseases, infections, contaminants, and radiation
