TURKISH PERSPECTIVE ON LIFTING IMMIGRATION RESTRICTIONS

Immigration is the movement of people into another country or region to which they are not native in order to settle there, especially as permanent residents or future citizens.

IMMIGRATION POLICIES OF TURKEY The aims of immigration policies of Turkey are twofold: 1.Maximum Security 2.Detailed Precautions to prevent illegal immigration and to ensure legal immigration

IMMIGRATION POLICIES OF TURKEY In the light of EU Harmonization process, Turkey has constituted new regulations so as to strengthen its borders to prevent flow of illegal immigrants.

IMMIGRATION POLICIES OF TURKEY Main regulations concerning legal and illegal immigration: a.“Law on Foreigners and International Protection” General entry ban to Turkey Obligation to obtain a visa Visa restrictions such as: The foreigners endangering for the public order and public security The people carrying the diseases which are endangering for public health
