How To Reduce Carbon Footprint? Avoid buying bottled water. Try not to buy new things that we barely use. Avoid driving, walk to work or take the bus. Use both sides of the paper when printing. Use recycle bags when grocery shopping. Grow your own vegetables.

What to do in your home? Insulate your home by turning the thermostat down by one degree to see if anyone notices the difference between the temperature. Switch to energy efficient light bulbs and switch the lights off when no one is in the room – obvious but we leave them on You also burn more calories keeping your body warm – so lose weight while watching TV in a cool home.

Final Thoughts… To help decide how you can cut down your carbon footprint, find the calculator on the Cool Climate Network website. After it helps you figure out the size of your footprint, the calculator helps you find ways to slash CO2 emissions, too. So take the challenge–what's your carbon footprint? Cool Climate Network
