Research clearly shows that a significant part of a child’s social, cognitive, physical and emotional development is completed by the age of 6. The child’s developmental needs must be met & supported by his/her immediate environment- thus, parents play a critical role as first educators. Importance of Early Childhood Education

Those most in need of education benefit the least from existing services. Investments in early childhood education reduce social and economic inequality. Early Childhood Education

Our Mission AÇEV focuses attention on those that are most severely impacted by lack of access to education in Turkey: women and children. Since 1993, AÇEV:  has been working towards providing equal opportunity in education for all;  upholding the view that learning is a lifelong process that must begin in early childhood;  supporting the child as well as his/her immediate caregivers and environment. In order to do this, AÇEV conducts research and develops and implements programs in its two main areas of expertise: early childhood and adult education
