Presentation transcript:

By James Marmo and Rohan Erm So you like swimming do you. Well if you do you will love this presentation, this will either teach you how to swim or improve your swimming. It will teach you the simple basics and the essentials which you need to know to master your swimming skills.

Feet together parallel with each other Dolphin like kick Start with hand out in front Pull through the water making an S shape Make sure hands leave water at the same time with hand about 4 cm above water. Make sure hand enters thumb first When touching wall hands must touch at the same time.

Start on your back the kick is as the same as a freestyle kick only on your back. Keep head straight do not move it around. Move hands in windmill motion, while one hand is inside the water the other hand is outside the water. The pull through the water should be an ‘S’ shape When one hand is entering the water make sure the other hand is exiting the water. You must enter the water with little finger first.

Start with hands out in front. Push inwards with hands into chest area. Then bring hands out to front again Kick is similar to a frog, bring feet up to behind and spread outwards then kick with feet going together again at the end. Make sure you touch with two hands. Keep repeating the above.

Kick with feet together moving up and down. Arms follow the windmill motion with one hand going into water when the other hand exits the water. When hand in water pull through making an ‘S’ shape Breathe when hand is out in front. Make sure you don’t lift head to high, because you want to be in a streamline position.

Now after reading these easy steps you can applicate the knowledge you have on swimming from this presentation to the pool.
