Ability to recognize our own feelings For preschool age students (3-5) it is very important for them to begin to recognize their self-emotions and begin to label them as accurately as possible. This slideshow will be use in the classroom to begin introducing the notion of feelings and to practice identifying our own feelings. This will be done during circle time (at the beginning of the day). In addition, this information will be useful for the teacher in identifying where the students are in terms of feelings. Children learn best when they are feeling good about themselves. At times, our students may need a little extra help to working with their feelings.
