Chuvash art  Chuvashes managed to carry their original art in wonderful songs and dances, legends and embroideries. Leaning against national traditions, the elder generation of creators made an invaluable spiritual wealth; and today's painters, writers, composers, artists try to arise to a higher level of skill.  The heroes of our writers' books speak dozens of languages of the world, e.g. Anthology of Chuvash poetry was published under the aegis of UNESCO in Italy, Hungary, France, England, Germany. The creative activity of Gennady Aighi, a poet, got a fame in the whole world.

folklore  Inexhaustible wealth of folklore is the basis of Chuvash professional musical art on all stages of development. National songs and instrumental melodies served as beneficial material for creation of many song and choral, symphonic and musical-scenic works. Prcservirig the best national traditions, composers have mastered difficult forms of classical music art, this contributing to stylistic and genre enrichment of Chuvash music.
