Objectives Create community of practice to share ideas and strategies Be reflective and collaborative Be deliberate in instructional planning Always keep expectations for students at the highest level possible Develop a firm understanding of the connection between the general standards and the ONLS-E Develop content knowledge related to core academic subjects

Social Studies The four main disciplines* within the social studies: History Geography Civics and Government Economics *The National Council of Social Studies also includes Psychology but Ohio does not

History Middle School Timelines Group events into eras Historical context as related to values and beliefs High School Use knowledge to make inferences about consequences and actions
