What is recycling? Recycling is when you take something old and turn it into something new.

What materials can be recycled? Cardboard paper Aluminium Steel Plastic Wood Clothes Glass Rubber metal

Why should we recycle? We should recycle because it saves energy and keeps the world cleaner.

What is the symbol? The symbol is 3 green arrows in a shape of a triangle

Cwm recycling center. All our blue bags go to CWM recycling center which is in Johnstown Carmarthen.

The staff empty every single blue bag and separate the plastics, papers etc and put it on a conveyor belt.A machine which rotates gets rid of all the little pieces of rubbish which can’t be recycled.

After the process is over they get squished into little boxes and sent to factories where they can make it into something new.
