Nobel Peace Prize Winners Lesley Swartz

Jane Addams- Awarded in 1931 She founded the Hull House in Chicago. It was a place for women to receive medical care, child care, and legal aid. It also provided classes for immigrates to learn English, art, and music. She received the Nobel Peace Prize for her work in helping woman receive more rights.

Martin Luther King- Awarded in 1964 He received the Noble Peace Prize for his working in helping obtain civil rights for the people.

Mother Teresa- Awarded in 1979 She devoted herself to working with the poorest people in the world. She provided school for poor children. She was dedicated to loving people.
